Official Construction Stormwater Inspector Certification

Construction activity can be defined as any demolition activity, the disturbance of one or more acres of land, or the disturbance of less than an acre that is part of a common plan of development.

Stormwater inspection is a crucial aspect of any construction operation. Construction activity has been shown to generate over 5 billion tons of sediment into our water bodies every year!

3 of the most common construction stormwater violations are:

  • Not installing erosion and sediment controls properly
  • Not maintaining these ESCs
  • Not keeping up with the required inspections

The Certified Stormwater Inspector Construction course offers the practical, in-depth understanding of construction activities needed for successful stormwater inspections and compliance.

In taking this course, construction personnel will learn how to conduct:

  • Construction Inspections
  • Site Stabilization – Erosion and Sediment Control
  • Construction Site Material Storage & Waste Management
  • Phased Development
  • Active and Post Construction Controls
  • Managing the Rain
