Our 5 Year renewable certification is accepted in MOST States.

We include all state certification requirements except for Alabama, Utah, Tennessee, and Washington. 
These states provide a specific certification from the state regulator.

Official Construction Stormwater Inspector Certification

Construction activity can be defined as any demolition activity, the disturbance of one or more acres of land, or the disturbance of less than an acre that is part of a common plan of development.

Stormwater inspection is a crucial aspect of any construction operation. Construction activity has been shown to generate over 5 billion tons of sediment into our water bodies every year! 

3 of the most common construction stormwater violations are:

The Certified Stormwater Inspector Construction course offers the practical, in-depth understanding of construction activities needed for successful stormwater inspections and compliance.

In taking this course, construction personnel will learn how to conduct:

COURSE DETAILS

Becoming a Certified Construction Stormwater Inspector helps ensure project compliance and can also help prevent expensive fines and violations. Personnel who take this course are usually responsible for:

  • Overseeing construction activity (Municipal Inspectors)
  • Environmental consulting

After the course is completed, participants will take a remote proctored exam. Upon successful completion, participants will receive:

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Guidance Document
  • Copy of your Construction Permit
  • 5-year renewable Construction Inspector Certification
  • 0.7 CEUs (Continuing Education Units)
