The exam is also on-line and can be accessed on the last slide of module four.
The exam is proctored and when completed, you will immediately receive your grade. You must pass the exam with a minimum score of 70%.
The Official Municipal Stormwater Inspector Re-Certification Course is an on-demand course designed for experienced stormwater professionals who need to renew their certification and knowledge of municipal stormwater inspection and compliance responsibilities.
This advanced refresher course, focuses on the practical application of MS4 permit requirements, including the Six Minimum Control Measures, municipal facility inspections, construction oversight, post-construction stormwater controls, documentation, enforcement, and identification of conditions that may contribute pollutants to the MS4 or receiving waters.
The course emphasizes current regulatory expectations, effective inspection techniques, defensible documentation, corrective-action follow-up, and common compliance deficiencies encountered in municipal stormwater programs.
Participants refresh the knowledge and judgment necessary to conduct thorough inspections, recognize potential violations, document findings, and support an effective and defensible MS4 compliance program.
This course will provide you with another five-year certification to continue as a Qualified Inspector under Municipal Operations.
This Level 1 course discusses the law as it relates to your permit, capital improvement projects, ordinance development, all required program elements, inspection requirements and financial responsibility.
The course will certify you as a “Qualified MS4 Inspector,” required under the Clean Water Act Legislation.
